Formula & how it works
Tax = fixed amount + slab rate × (taxable rent − slab threshold)
Rental income slabs (individuals)
- PKR 0 – PKR 300,000: No tax
- PKR 300,000 – PKR 600,000: PKR 0 + 5.0% of excess
- PKR 600,000 – PKR 2,000,000: PKR 15,000 + 10.0% of excess
- Above PKR 2,000,000: PKR 155,000 + 25.0% of excess
