Formula & how it works

  • Annual gross = (monthly salary + bonus) × 12
  • Income tax = FBR progressive salary slabs on annual gross (plus surcharge if applicable)
  • Monthly deductions = income tax ÷ 12 + provident fund + EOBI + other
  • Net salary = monthly gross − total monthly deductions
