Are these formulas official?

Each calculator shows the exact document its formula came from, the year that document applies to, and the date CalcuPK last checked it. Where a value is not stated in a primary institutional source, the page says so and the field is editable rather than fixed. CalcuPK does not treat other calculator websites as a source.

Do these calculators guarantee admission?

No. An aggregate is one input into a merit list. Seats, quotas, category, campus, interview components and the strength of the applicant pool in a given year all affect the outcome. Treat the result as an estimate of your own score, not a prediction of admission.

Education calculators for Pakistani students

CalcuPK's education calculators cover two different jobs. GPA and CGPA tools convert your semester grades into a credit-hour weighted grade point average. Merit and aggregate tools apply a university's published admission weighting to your Matric, Intermediate and entry-test marks. How this calculation works

Free Pakistan education calculators: university GPA and CGPA, admission aggregate and merit for MDCAT, NUMS, NUST, UET, FAST, COMSATS and UAF. Every formula cites its official source.

MDCAT aggregate calculator

This calculator applies the PMDC admission formula for the 2025–26 session: 10% of your Matric percentage, 40% of your FSc percentage and 50% of your MDCAT percentage, added together.

NUMS aggregate calculator

NUMS applies 10% Matric, 40% FSc and 50% entry test, but the test is its own NUMS MDCAT, not the national one.

NUST aggregate calculator

NUST weights its own entry test at 75%, FSc Part-I at 15% and Matric at 10%.

UET Lahore aggregate calculator

UET Lahore's official Fall 2026 prospectus weights ECAT at 33%, FSc Part-I at 50% and Matric at 17%.

FAST-NUCES does not use one formula.

Common mistakes

Using a GPA calculator when you need an admission aggregate, or the reverse.
Assuming every university uses the same weighting — they do not, and the differences are large.
Using last year's formula for this year's admission cycle without checking the current prospectus.

Key terms

Admission aggregate: A single percentage that combines your Matric, Intermediate and entry-test marks using the weights a university publishes. It is used to rank applicants on a merit list.
GPA: Grade Point Average — total quality points divided by total attempted credit hours for a single semester, on a scale that is usually 4.00.
CGPA: Cumulative Grade Point Average — the same calculation as GPA but across every completed semester, weighted by credit hours.
Closing merit: The aggregate of the last candidate admitted to a programme in a given year. It is set by supply and demand each cycle and is not a fixed pass mark.
