This Privacy Policy explains how CalcuPK ("CalcuPK", "we", "us") handles information when you use our website and calculators. CalcuPK is an independent informational website that provides free, Pakistan-focused calculators. By using the site, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. The information involved falls into three broad groups: the inputs you type into calculators (handled in your browser/session), information you voluntarily send us if you make contact, and limited technical information collected automatically for analytics and security, as described below.

Calculator Inputs

Where possible, CalcuPK calculators are designed to process inputs in the browser or session without requiring users to create an account. Unless a user submits information through a contact form or another explicit form, calculator inputs are not intended to identify the user.

In practice this means the figures you enter — such as salary, income, property value, vehicle details, gold weight, deposit amounts or zakat assets — are used on your device to produce an estimate and are not intended to be stored against your identity by CalcuPK.

Contact Form Information

Our contact form composes a message in your own email application; it does not transmit data to a CalcuPK server from your browser. If you choose to email us (through the form or directly), we receive the information you include — for example your name, email address, the calculator or page URL, and your message — and use it solely to respond to and act on your enquiry. If a server-side contact form is added in the future, we will update this policy to describe how those submissions are handled.

Email Subscriptions (Optional)

Some pages offer an optional way to receive your result by email, plus occasional updates such as a filing-season reminder or a notice when Budget/tax rates change. This is entirely opt-in — you never need to give an email address to use any calculator.

If you choose to subscribe, we collect your email address and store, alongside it, a record of your consent, the page you subscribed from, and the date of sign-up. We use this only to send what you asked for and related CalcuPK updates. We never sell your data. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by contacting us at support@calcupk.com.

Subscriptions are managed through our email provider, Brevo, which stores and processes your email on our behalf under its own privacy policy.

Automatically Collected Information

Like most websites, when you visit CalcuPK our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically receive limited technical information such as your device type, browser type, approximate (country-level) location derived from your IP address, the pages you view, referring source, and general usage events. This information is used in aggregate to keep the site running and to understand performance — not to identify you personally.

Cookies and Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics or standard website analytics to understand page performance, search traffic, device type, country-level location, browser type, and general usage trends.

The core site does not require cookies to function. Analytics and other third-party services may set their own cookies or use similar technologies to recognise repeat visitors and measure usage. How We Do Not Use Calculator Inputs

Analytics events are designed to capture which tools are used and how pages perform — not the personal figures you enter into a calculator.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers who help us run the site (for example hosting and analytics), strictly to provide those services, and we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the site. Aggregated or anonymised statistics that do not identify you may be used or shared for analysis.

Third-Party Services

CalcuPK relies on third-party services that may process limited information:

We take reasonable measures to protect the website and any information we handle. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You share information with us at your own discretion.

Data Retention

Because calculator inputs are processed in your browser or session, they are not retained by CalcuPK after you leave a page. Messages you send us by email are retained only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and keep reasonable records. Analytics data is retained in aggregate according to our analytics provider's settings and policies.

Children's Privacy

CalcuPK is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
